Accent color: Accent colors are colors that are used for emphasis in a color scheme.
Achromatic color: An achromatic color is a one that lacks hues such as white, grey and black. Color theory: is a body of practical guidance to mixing and the visual effects of a specific color combination. Monochromatic: containing or using only one color. Opponent theory: is a psychological and neurological model that accounts for a wide range of behaviors, including color vision. Saturation: the state or process that occurs when no more of something can be absorbed, combined with, or added. Secondary color: a color resulting from the mixing of two primary colors. Shade: comparative darkness and coolness caused by shelter from direct sunlight. Simultaneous contrast: refers to the way in which two different colors affect each other. Split complementary Color: is a variation of the complementary color scheme. Subtractive color: model explains the mixing of a limited set of dyes, inks, paint pigments or natural colorants to create a wider range of colors. Temperature: of a light source is the of an ideal that radiates light of a color comparable to that of the light source. Tertiary colors: combinations of primary and secondary colors. Tint: a shade or variety of color. Tone: a musical or vocal sound with reference to its pitch, quality, and strength.
